Haunted Halloween Quilting: Where Spooky Season Meets Your Sewing Room

Hi friend,

It's Jacqueline here, and I have a confession... spooky season starts in my sewing room around the very first cool morning of the year. The pumpkin mug comes out, the orange and black fat quarters migrate to the top of the stash, and suddenly every project I touch wants a little bit of eerie stitched into it. Sound familiar?

If it does, then this collection was made for you. It is called Haunted Halloween Quilting, and it is exactly what it sounds like: the place where our love of quilting and our love of all things witchy, creepy, and wonderfully weird finally got to live together.

What lives in the Haunted Halloween Quilting collection

This collection is wall-to-wall Comfort Color premium tees and long sleeves, every one printed with a design that we quilters will recognize on sight. There are the classic haunts (think Ghostly Stitches, Haunted Stitches, and Sew Spooky) for the quilter who likes her Halloween cozy rather than terrifying. There are the full-character pieces like Zombie Quilter, Mummified Strip Quilter, and CREEPY QUILTER, made for the one in your guild who shows up to the October meeting already in costume. And then there are the ones that are really just quilting life wearing a Halloween mask... Still Not Done, This May Take A Minute., and The Scraps Have Turned. If your scrap bin has ever felt slightly sentient, you already understand.

My personal weakness? WITCH, PLEASE. I'M QUILTING. It makes me laugh every single time I pull it out of the drawer. Honorable mentions go to Whooos Stitching (the owl pun we refuse to apologize for), Witchy Stitches, Stitchcraft, Fabric Wizard, and Wicked Weaver, because let's be honest, what we do at the cutting table is basically spellwork. There is Stitching the Moon for the quilter whose best seams happen long after the house goes quiet, Stitch or Treat for candy duty at the front door, and Pumpkin Patch for the softer side of the season. And for the days when the bobbin jams, the points refuse to match, and the whole project goes sideways >>> Well. That Escalated. and This is Madness say what your seam ripper is already thinking.

Why we made this collection

Chic Quilter was born because we couldn't find designs that felt truly us, modern, fun, a little cheeky. And no season is cheekier than Halloween. We wanted long sleeves for chilly sewing room marathons and sayings that could only have come from someone who actually quilts, someone who knows what a UFO pile looks like by candlelight. So we made them ourselves, with heaps of heart, for the quilters who start decorating in September and call it being prepared. No judgment ~ we are those quilters too.

Penny says: "Wear the zombie one to guild. See what happens." ๐Ÿง

Ready to haunt your own sewing room?

Come wander the whole Haunted Halloween Quilting collection and find the design that feels like it was printed just for you (and if you come home with a little haul instead of just one... that is simply the best kind of haunted). Which one is you?
