It's Judy here, and I have to tell you what just happened in the shop. You know that feeling when the coffee's gone cold on the table, the fabric's piled in your lap, and you look down and realize your sleeves are pushed up past your elbows because you've been at the machine for three hours straight? Sound familiar?
Well, we made shirts for that exact person. A whole wave of them just landed in Long Sleeve Tees, every one on a Comfort Colors Premium Long Sleeve Tee, and I am honestly having trouble picking a favorite. So instead of picking, I'm going to walk you through the whole arrival like we're standing in my sewing room together.
For the Coffee-and-Fabric Crowd (So... All of Us)
Let's start with the designs that feel like a Tuesday morning at the cutting table. Fabric & Coffee, All I Need is Coffee & Fabric, and Friends, Quilts & Coffee are for anyone whose two main food groups are caffeine and cotton. And Brew for Bolts ~ Works Every. Time. is the one I keep coming back to, because it's true and we all know it's true. No judgment.
Then there's Fabric Scientist and I ❤️ Fabric, which are really just two different ways of admitting the same thing, and Grandma's Studio, which made me a little misty the first time I saw it. Some of us learned at a grandmother's elbow, and some of us are the grandma with the studio now. Both are something to be proud of.
The Cheeky Ones (You Knew There Would Be Cheeky Ones)
If you've spent any time in our Stash Confessions collection, you know we believe a fabric stash isn't a problem, it's strategic inventory. How to… Hide Your Stash joined that family, and I feel seen in a way I'm not entirely comfortable with.
Over in Binding & Stitch Life, the pun department was clearly working overtime. Afraid Seam? Laughed the Ripper. might be my favorite thing we've ever printed on a shirt, and Her Seams Center to Drink. pairs beautifully with our Wine Tumblers, if you're the kind of quilter who unwinds with a glass after a long binding session. And for the quilters who express themselves a little more... emphatically, F ~ CAW ~ F ~ I'm Quilting and F ~ CAW ~ F ~ I'm Quilting in Color are here for you. Penny says: 'I'm a bird. I understood that one immediately.' 🐧
For the Quilters Whose Helpers Have Four Paws
Our Pet-Inspired Collection got some seriously gorgeous company. German Shepherd Helper and Golden Retriever Helper honor the supervisors who sit on exactly the piece of fabric you need next. I Like Quilting and My Golden and I Like Quilting and My German Shepard say the quiet part out loud, and Purr ~ fect Mess! is for the cat people, because we all know whose sewing room it really is. Pets & Fabric covers the rest of us whose helpers defy a single breed.
Hearts, Flamingos, and a Snowman
A few of these landed in some of our most loved corners of the shop. Patchwork Heart joined our Valentine Specials, and honestly, a pieced heart is the most quilter way there is to say I love you. The Starry ~ Eyed Flamingo Quilter waded straight into Flamingo Fun, which delights me every time I look at it. And The Quilted Snowman is there for the quilters who stitch straight through the coziest months of the year, right alongside softer sentiments like Spool Blooms and Peace Love and Fabric.
Why Long Sleeves, and Why Now
Here's the honest answer: because sewing rooms run cold and quilters run long hours. We built this arrival on Comfort Colors long sleeve tees because we wanted something you could actually live in, from the first cup of coffee to the last stitch of the night.
