Chic Quilter Clothing Care Guidelines
Washing & Drying Instructions:
We adore our Chic Quilter apparel, but sad would be the day that they fade (much like a well-loved quilt!). Luckily, you can zig-zag this sad fate with some care and these easy steps:
1. Secret Reveal Wash: Wash and dry your T-shirts, Hoodies, and any other apparel inside out. Easy, but crucial.
2. Cool and Gentle Cycle: Bathe your apparel in cool water with a splash of gentle detergent. Your apparel isn't a quilt-in-the-works, so no high heat!
3. Low Spin, Luxe Care: Resist the spin temptation - extra spins do more harm than good. Need to get the spin out of you? Go rip out a seam - both can make you dizzy!
4. Air Dry Retreat: If tumble drying on that extra low-heat setting, just know that your apparel does not like company - no towels or heavy jeans.
5. Low Heat Iron: Iron inside out, only if necessary. We recommend that you also have a lightly damp cloth between the apparel and the iron. Irons are not a t-shirt's best friend.
Follow these steps, and your apparel will stay vibrant longer than the stitches of life!
Additional Clothing Care Tips:
Below find more apparel care tips tailored for the discerning chic quilter and your unique apparel
1. Color Coordination Mastery: Sort your fabrics like you sort your quilting squares—light with light, dark with dark. It’s a palette thing!
2. Gentle Cycles Only: Treat your clothes like delicate quilt stitches. A gentle wash will keep the seams and dreams intact.
3. Chill Out with Cold Water: Cold washes are like a cool breeze on a quilt in the park—refreshing and essential for preservation.
4. Sunshine and Fresh Air: Let your garments sunbathe! Air drying is the solar power of fabric care, keeping everything fresh and vibrant.
5. Knits Need Naps: Fold your knits like cozy quilts ready for a nap to prevent them from stretching into new dimensions.
6. Hang with Care: Hang wovens like a tapestry display in a gallery, ensuring each piece remains wrinkle-free and exhibition-ready.
7. Ironing? It’s an Art: Like pressing quilt blocks, iron with precision and the right heat setting to make every seam look sharp.
8. Fasten Up: Zip and button up before washing. Think of it as battening down the hatches against the stormy seas of the spin cycle.
9. Reverse the Canvas: Turn clothes inside out to protect the fabric’s face from the harsh world outside, much like turning a quilt to preserve its story.
10. Stain Stories: Attack stains with the zeal of a quilter spotting a rare fabric at a market—prompt and effective, ensuring nothing mars your textile masterpiece.
These care instructions not only keep your chic quilter apparel in stellar condition but also add a bit of fun to your routine of fabric care!
