**Wine Sipper ~ The Retreat Evening Standard**
There is a specific hour at every retreat when the machines wind down and the sippers come out. This is the correct equipment: 18/8 stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation, so the pour stays cold through a long story generously told, and a sliding lid that has saved more than one porch railing pour from a sudden breeze. It travels from kitchen to deck to firepit without complaint and looks equally at home holding lemonade at the Saturday sew-in (what happens in the sipper stays in the sipper). Hand wash, air dry, pack it first. Of all the retreat packing-list items, this is the one veterans never forget.

Two Grand Marshals Lead the Sewing Room's Hometown Parade
