There is a small, happy ceremony at the fabric store counter. You set the bolt down, it thumps over and over as it unrolls, the shears glide along the line, and someone asks the only question that matters: how much? While the Bobbin Winds: The Sewing Room's Official Break Schedule
Nobody sews straight through a Saturday. There is always a pause while the bobbin winds, a stretch after the last seam in a row, and one long, lovely break when the whole block finally lines up.
