A quilter's commitments are already spoken for. The UFO pile has heard 'I'll finish you before I start anything new' since spring and is being very patient about it. The guild has her on the retreat committee. The block-of-the-month is three months behind. The last thing she needs is one more thing that arrives on a schedule.

Somewhere in your car there is a small hand-piecing kit that has seen more of this country than most people. It went to Acadia. It sat on a bench above the Grand Canyon. It got a few hexagons done at a picnic table in Yellowstone while someone else photographed the bison. -
