Starla Flamingle has quilt hair. It stands straight up in a burst of pink, purple and teal, and she is not going to fix it, because she is holding a finished block and standing next to a stack of nine more. The banner over her head says Quilt Hair, Don't Care. It is the most honest tee on the Stitch Happens shelf.
She is one of a flock. Featherina Stitchรฉ, Flamingle Fawcett, Bobbinetta Beakley, Flossie Flaminglam and Squawklyn Spoolberg are tall pink birds who took up quilting and never looked back. Each one has her own hair situation and her own opinion about your quarter-inch seam. Together they are the witnesses to everything that happens in a sewing room, and stitch does happen.
The rest of the shelf is what they have witnessed. Sorry. Can't. Quilts. Later. I'm Not Retired (I'm a full-time quilter). Quilter(ish), for the modest. I Like Quilting and My German Shepherd, and maybe three people. And a run of national park tees, Zion, Redwood, Yellowstone, Acadia and more, for the quilter who takes the hand-piecing on the road.
Premium tees and relaxed fits, mostly, with a few long sleeves, and a handful of wine tumblers and flasks for the flock's evening meeting.
