Hi friends, Judy here. This morning I pushed my sleeves up to press a seam, pulled them right back down (my sewing room runs chilly before the iron warms up), and decided the universe was telling me something ~ sleeve weather is sewing weather. Sound familiar?
A whole wave of fresh designs just landed in the shop, and every single one lives on a Comfort Color Premium Long-Sleeve Tee... the kind you pull on before the coffee finishes brewing and somehow forget to take off until bedtime. We made these for the quilters who do their best thinking with warm wrists and a window cracked open.
Designs with salt air in their seams
Someone around here has clearly been daydreaming about water (no names, but it rhymes with Judy). This drop brought Threaded Dreams by the Sea, Lakeshore Breezes, Sewing Tides, Seam Surfing, and Quilting the Current for anyone who stitches best with the sound of waves in their head. Sunset Dream Threads and Creative Breezes carry the same shoreline mood into golden hour. And for the days when the bobbin fights back and the seam ripper earns its keep, there is Gale Force Quilting... because we have all sewn through weather of our own making.
For the slow-morning stitchers
Then come the morning people, or at least the people who aspire to be. Today is a Good Day to Sew and Today is a Good Day to Quilt arrived together. Yes, we made a sew version and a quilt version. We tried to pick between them (twice) and gave up, which felt very on brand for people who cannot leave a fabric shop with just one fat quarter.
Catching My Morning Muse is for the before-breakfast sketchers. Over the Meadow, Quilting Dreams Call Orange is for the daydreamers who plan quilts on long drives. My Favorite Things is for... well, you already know what yours are. And Kitty Cat Quilts is for everyone whose quality control inspector has whiskers and a firm opinion about where finished quilts belong (spoiler: directly under the cat).
Where they all settled in
This drop found its way into some well-loved corners of the shop:
- Long Sleeve Tees, the home base for every design above
- Cozy Heavyweight Tees, for anyone who likes a tee with some comforting weight to it
- Pet-Inspired Collection, where Kitty Cat Quilts curled up immediately and refused to move
- Binding & Stitch Life, for the designs that celebrate the stitching life itself
Penny says: “Sleeves. Finally, a garment that understands flippers get cold too.” 🐧
Ready to dive in?
Start with the Long Sleeve Tees collection and see which design sounds like your sewing room on its best day. And if one of them feels like it was made for a quilting friend instead of you... no judgment. We fully support matching tees at guild.
