Hi, quilty friends,
You know that moment when you're getting dressed for guild and nothing in the closet actually says who you are? Not "person who owns a t-shirt," but quilter... the kind with a seam ripper in every room and strong feelings about bobbin tension. Sound familiar?
We've been stitching something special for exactly that moment, and it all just landed in the shop together: a whole wave of designs printed on Comfort Colors tees and long sleeves, made for the people who measure once and live with the consequences. Pour a coffee (it'll go cold, that's tradition) and let us show you around.
If Vincent Had Owned a Longarm
We fell down a rabbit hole imagining what would have happened if Van Gogh had discovered fat quarters, and honestly, we never climbed back out. The result is a little gallery of our own: Vincent Van Quilt, Gogh Sew Wild, Gogh Sew Crazy, Gogh Quilt Yourself, and the pep talk of the bunch, Gogh, Sew, Gogh! Swirling-sky energy, sunflower warmth, and puns we absolutely refuse to apologize for. Every one of them comes as a Comfort Colors tee and as a long sleeve, so you can pick your sleeve and gogh.
Penny Had Opinions, Obviously
Our beloved mascot did not sit this one out. Ruthless Scrap Bin Penguin is for anyone who guards their scraps like treasure (because they are treasure), and Penny's Epic Fabric Run commemorates the sacred sprint we all make when the good fabric comes in. Penny says: "I regret nothing. Especially the scraps." 🐧
The Confessions We All Needed on a Shirt
This is the part of the arrival that feels like group therapy, in the best way. Chronic Quilt Starter Club is for everyone whose UFO pile has its own zip code. Measured Once Quilting Rebel knows exactly what it did. The Seam Ripper Panic and The Great Bobbin Hunt are the little dramas that play out in your sewing room every single week, and Quilting Besties Support Group is the shirt you wear to retreat with the friends who have witnessed all of it. No judgment ~ we've all been there, usually by Tuesday.
For the quilters whose love runs quieter, Lost In Fabric Bliss says what the stash already knows, and Pedal To The Metal is for the ones who treat a deadline quilt like a qualifying lap.
The Pretty Ones (Because Sometimes You Just Want Pretty)
Spool City Button Sun, Rainbow Quilter's Color Splash, and Cozy Dresden Quilt Mandala are the designs for the days when you don't need a punchline, you just want something seriously gorgeous on a long sleeve. If a Dresden plate has ever made you sigh out loud in the middle of a quilt show, these were made with you in mind.
And a Little Something Spooky
We're A Little Batty and Rest In Pieces Revenge bring the cheeky, haunted energy... perfect company for the spooky corner of the shop, where frustration humor goes to become art.
Where Everything Landed
This whole arrival settled into its homes across the shop, so you can browse by the mood you're in:
- Long Sleeve Tees, for sewing rooms where the iron is the only warm thing in the house.
- Mid/Heavyweight Tees, for the days you want your tee with a little more to it.
- The Scrap Basket, where the odds, ends, and happy surprises gather.
- Stash Confessions, for the truths we only admit on shirt fronts.
- Binding & Stitch Life, for the everyday rhythm of needle, thread, and one more row before bed.
- HOLIDAY - Haunted Threads, the deliciously spooky side of the stash.
- and a little collection that goes simply by … (yes, that is truly its name; think of it as the UFO of collections, and we love it exactly as it is).
Ready to dive in? Start with the Gogh series and see which one is you... then come tell us which name made you laugh first. We're quilters, not robots, and we genuinely want to know.
