Hi friends,
It is Sunday afternoon in New England. The game is on, the snacks are out, and you are exactly where you want to be: parked in your favorite chair with fabric in your lap and one eye on the screen. Somebody yells at the TV, you finish a seam, and everybody in the room is having the best day of their week. Sound familiar?
That is the exact afternoon our New England Quilter ~ Game-Day Gear collection was made for. We were not imagining a customer when we drew these up. We were imagining you.
Why this collection exists
Every region has its Sundays, and New England Sundays have a rhythm all their own. Football on one side of the room, a quilt in progress on the other, and absolutely no reason to choose between them. We kept hearing from quilters who spend the whole season this way (piecing through the first half, pressing at halftime, binding by the final drive), and we thought: that deserves its own gear. So we built it ourselves.
Football and quilting talk to each other all through this collection, and we are not sorry. The puns run the full length of the field... and we leaned in rather than apologizing, because that is how we quilters do things around here.
The designs, called by name
Start with The Fabric Draft, for the quilter whose first-round pick is always the fabric, every single year. Stitch Six and Sewtertime keep the scoreboard energy going, while First & Sew and First Down, Sew On! are for anyone who measures a good afternoon in both yards gained and yardage left on the bolt.
All-Pro Stitcher says out loud what your guild already knows about you. #1/4 Quilter wears the quarter-inch seam like a jersey number, and 1/4 Stitch Squad rounds up everyone else who lives and dies by that same quarter inch.
Then there is the roster for the rest of us: 99 Stash League, 100 Fabric Crew, 50 Thread Team, 45 Bobbin Crew, and 24 Sew Crew. Pick the number that feels like yours. This is the stash in the closet nobody else counts (the one you call strategic inventory, because it is), finally out in the open and printed right on a tee. Honestly? It looks great out there.
Every design in the collection comes on a Comfort Colors Premium Tee, the same tee across the whole lineup, so the only real decision is which design sounds the most like your Sundays.
Penny says: "Call a timeout. Pick your tee. Then get back to your seam." ๐ง
Ready to suit up?
The whole lineup is waiting in the New England Quilter ~ Game-Day Gear collection, modern and fun and a little cheeky, just the way we like our designs. Ready to dive in? Grab the one that tells your story, and wear it to the watch party, the guild meeting, or straight into your sewing room with the game turned up. No judgment on which of those wins.
