Hi friends, Judy here. Picture a Saturday in Tennessee: the TV is roaring, somebody is hollering at a referee who cannot hear them, and you are three seams deep into a block with the snips balanced on the armrest. Sound familiar?
That exact Saturday is why our Tennessee Quilter ~ Game-Day Gear collection exists. We couldn't find game-day shirts that said anything true about the person stitching through the second quarter... so we made our own. Every design in the collection is printed on a Comfort Colors Premium Tee, and every one of them is built on a single idea: football season and quilting season are the same season, and we intend to enjoy both.
Designs called like plays
These are football words that wandered into your sewing room and decided to stay. The Fabric Draft is for the quilter who scouts a fat quarter the way a coach scouts a quarterback. Stitch Six, First & Sew, and First Down, Sew On! celebrate progress wherever you find it, on the field or on the design wall. Sewtertime is a pun, yes (we said it out loud twice before approving it), and we regret nothing. And All-Pro Stitcher is simply the truth about somebody you know. Possibly you.
Jersey numbers, quilter style
Then there's the roster. #1/4 Quilter and the 1/4 Stitch Squad honor the quarter inch, the most important measurement in a quilter's whole world. The 100 Fabric Crew and the 99 Stash League are for the best kind of fabric hoarder (this isn't hoarding, it's strategic inventory). The 50 Thread Team, the 45 Bobbin Crew, and the 24 Sew Crew round out the lineup. Pick the number that feels like your position, wear it to guild, and watch who grins at you from across the room.
Who this collection is for
It's for the quilter who watches every single snap with a binding in their lap, and just as much for the one who looks up for touchdowns and otherwise lets the needle do the talking. It's for anyone who plans their piecing around kickoff instead of the other way around. And it's for gifting too... if there's a Tennessee quilter in your life, one of these tees says I see you better than any card ever could.
Penny says: "I don't know what a blitz is. I know what a bobbin is. Priorities." ๐ง
