Every quilt shop has a delivery day, and every serious quilter knows which one it is. The boxes come in the back, the tape comes off, and for about an hour the new bolts are standing on the counter before anyone has shelved them. The regulars time their visits. They do not admit this.
Just In New Items at Chic Quilter is the counter on delivery day, with the boxes open. It is not only the tees, although the tees lead (This May Take A Minute., The Stash Has Tenants, We Committed., and the Stitchin' In towns behind them). It is everything in the order it arrived: the hoodies, the songbird Quilter's Flasks and wine sippers, the sewing-room mugs, and the occasional surprise that was not on the order form, like a wood sign.
You know which day the boxes come. This is that day, every day. Pick what is standing on the counter before it gets put away, and it is yours the moment you say so.
