Judy, Jenny, and Jacqueline, the creative minds behind Chic Quilter, initially found success on Amazon with 24,000 sales of their quirky, quilting-themed t-shirts. However, they soon realized that to truly personalize their offerings—a feature highly requested by their community—they needed their own online space.
Embracing the challenge with a mix of excitement and determination, the trio set out to build their own website. The process, lasting six months, was akin to piecing together a complex quilt, filled with decisions about design, functionality, and the perfect puns for product descriptions.
Launching their website marked the true beginning for Chic Quilter. It was their brand's grand unveiling, moving from the generic shelves of Amazon to a dedicated studio where they could offer customizations galore. Customers could now choose their t-shirt slogans, colors, and fabrics, turning each piece into a personalized expression of their quilting passion.
This move not only maintained their strong sales but also deepened their ties to the quilting community, proving that a little personalization can go a long way in crafting not just apparel, but also relationships. The site became a vibrant hub for quilters who wanted to wear their art on their sleeves—both figuratively and literally.
